PHRASES IN THE GITA (3)

Naanshochitum (Ch 2 - Sh 25) / Naivam Shochitum (Ch 2 - Sh 26) / Na Twam shochithum (Ch 2 - Sh 27) / Kaa pardevanaa ? (Ch 2 - Sh 28).
नानुशोचितुम (अध्याय २ - श्लोक २५) / नैवं शोचितुम (अध्याय २ - श्लोक २६) / न त्वं शोचितुम (अध्याय २ - श्लोक २७) / का परिदेवना ? (अध्याय २ - २८) |
நானுஷோசிதும் (அத்யாயம் 2 - ஷ்லோகம் 25) / நைவம் ஷோசிதும் (அத்யாயம் 2 - ஷ்லோகம் 25) / ந த்வம் ஷோசிதும் (அத்யாயம் 2 - ஷ்லோகம் 25) / கா பரிதேவனா ? (அத்யாயம் 2 - ஷ்லோகம் 25)

Meaning : "Do not worry. Why grieve?"  Great words. Why be sad?

Poverty?? (Comparison is not a healthy trait.  Yet, comparison sometimes helps one to shirk off negativity.)  Look around.  You are not alone. There are so many equally poor, many more poorer. You have education to take up a job and earn livelihood.  You have skills to work on and earn. You have the age and able body to strive and earn.  You are not alone.  You have a good family, good friends to support you. Why worry?

Do not own a house??  Oh! You at least have money to rent one. You don't stay on roadside footpath or Railway platform, as so many thousands? What is the cause for worry?

Very difficult situation??  Life is cyclic. Nothing is unending. Be it any situation, it is definitely not a dark, never-ending cave. There is no "point of no return" in life.  Everything changes. Difficulties end and give place to ease and comfort.  Darkness ends and Light wakes up. Develop perseverance, fortitude. Things will change.  Only your attitude attracts friends and situations for you.  Try and tune your attitude. Things will change in natural course. At least, you will be able to face the situation without sadness, with a smile.

The Gita goes one step further and declares, "Even death is not a cause to worry". Death and disease are only for the body. You are not the body. You are quintessence of Sat- Chit- Ananda, a speck of Infinite Joy.  You are JOY personified. Why do you wear a sad mask??

(இசைக்கும் மொழி கிடையாது . கவிதைக்குதான் மொழி . தமிழிசை மன்றம் என்பதெல்லாம் அபத்தம் .) தமிழகத்திற்கு வடக்கில் பாரத தேஶத்தின் அத்தனை ப்ராந்தங்களும் (கேரளம் தவிர்த்து) உள்ளன . தெலுங்கு , மராடீ , போஜ்புரி , குஜராதீ ... அனைத்து மொழிகளும் வட திஶையில் பேசப்படும் மொழிகள் .  இவை எல்லாம் வடமொழிகள் . (கன்யாகுமரி ஆளுக்கு சென்னை பாஷை கூட வடமொழிதான்) . இந்த எல்லா மொழிகளிலும் இந்த ஶப்தங்களுக்கு எழுத்துக்கள் உண்டு .   தெலுங்கில் జ  , స  , హ .. . என்றும் ,   கன்னடத்தில்   ಜ , ಸ , ಹ , ಕ್ಷ .. என்றும் , மராடீயில் . ज , स , ह , श , क्ष,.. என்றும் குஜராதியில்     જ , સ , હા , ક્ષ  , என்றும் ,   ப...

August 28th... Flying visit to Chennai..

ॐ Out of the net for three days. Fying visits to Chennai on 28th and to Erode on the 30th. 29th was Shravana Poornimaa, day for License renewal . Went to Chennai for inauguration of ABVP Karyalayam. There was a day long meet of old workers of Vidyarthi Parishad. Recall of memories is always a refreshing experience. Probably, that is the reason why many want to live with 'glorious' old memories. Those days when our only asset was Enthusiasm at its best. Karyalaya, funds, facilities like vehicle, phone, etc. support, numerical strength, and other resources were on the lower side. Peanuts, Tea, Walk, long and short ones. Nevertheless, it was a great experience with high level of affectionate team working and sharing, hectic activism, great dreams. Nagpur Sangam Chawl Karyalayam was a tiled hut, but was always full of students. Similar in Chennai Ezhumbur Karyalaya. Now, there is no paucity of resources.
