PHRASES IN THE GITA - 201
Asanga Shastrena Drushena Chittvaa .. (Chapter 15 - Shlokam 3)
Meaning : Cut this with firm weapon called detachment ..
What is Samsaara ?? Is Samsaara one or many ?? World created is only one .. But , world that reveals to anyone during his or her stay in this world is different .. Everyone gets a world unique and different .. It is according to his own collection of Karmas .. This may sound funny .. but can be verified with a little bit of thinking ..
The place of birth , the family , social atmosphere , the school and college we enter for education , atmosphere prevalent there , the opportunities met , friendship circles , towns and places of visit , the help accrued from the invisible and fortune factors , lost opportunities and spoiled chances due to the same fortune and invisible factors , and so many other things make the world introduced to anyone by life .. The world we get , the world we see and experience is different and unique to our own self .. None else gets the same world .. And this is result of our own collection of Karmas in our previous lives .. Ask anyone to explain the world .. and he will be explaining his own life .. World created is one .. only one .. But the world revealed to any life is different ..
This world is attractive .. It is alluring .. It is binding .. When the experiences are bitter and negative , the Samsaara binds with hatred , anger , urge to seek revenge etc .. When the experiences are sweet and positive , the bondage is by pride , pleasure , desire , greed etc .. Shri Krishna asks us to cut this bondage .. Cut it firmly with the weapon of detachment .. Detachment is the weapon that can get rid of Karma ..
