PHRASES IN THE GITA - 224

अशुचि व्रताः ..  (अध्याय १६ - श्लोक १०)
அஶுசி வ்ரதாஹ ...  (அத்யாயம் 16 - ஶ்லோகம் 10)
Ashuchi Vrataah ..  (Chapter 16 - Shlokam 10)

Meaning :  Lowly and impure resolves ..

The Asura or persons with demoniac attitude works with impure resolve ..  (It can also be said anyone working with impure resolve is an Asura ..)

The Dravida Kazhagam started its work with a resolution 'We'll either get Dravida country or a crematorium" to suggest their readiness to die for their cause ..  We have witnessed the extent of destruction and damage these Kazhagams have caused in Tamil Nadu ..  (It is probable that they are executing later part of their resolve ..  They did not get Dravida country and are converting Tamil Nadu into a crematorium ..)

The Pope declared Kristian resolve when he visited Bharat in 2001 ..  "The first millennium was for converting Europe ..  We converted Afrika in the second millennium ..  Now , we'll conduct harvest in Asia in the third millennium" he declared ..  What does he mean by harvest ??  We know from what Kristianity did in Europe and Afrika ..  Religious conversions on large scale , mass murders of those who refuse to convert , worst exploitation of Natural resources , fall in values and character ..

Islam also wants to establish Islamik Shariat law all over the world ..  They started their campaign with swords in their hands ..  AK type guns and bombs have replaced swords in modern times ..  They have caused deluge of human blood in all the countries they attacked ..  They unleahsed plunder of huge wealth and rapes of women in millions in all these countries ..

"Government of the Proletariat" or Government of the Labour was the resolve of Communist party ..  They started around hundred years back ..  The credit of causing utmost destruction to humanity in shortest time must go to the communists ..  Experiences of people in Russia and other eastern countries are too well known to demand repetition ..  The two states in Bharat , under communist rule , Keralam and Bengal , are the worst affected by violence , violence against those who refuse Communist ideas ..

Loss of human lives , destruction of Nature , fall in values , loss of character are the common effects of resolves of Asura ..  That is hence Shri Krishna calls this "Impure resolve" ..

A question arises here ..  Our own Rishis also went to various countries with a resolve 'Krunvanto Vishvam Aaryam' , i.e.  "We'll make the world Arya" ..  Is it also Asura resolve ?  The Rishis went to various countries alone ..  They were not supported financially or otherwise , by our kings or people or organizations ..  These Rishis never instigated the people to armed struggle against their governments ..  On the other hand , they taught them higher values of life ..  They elevated the people to greater life ..  In fact , they were true to their resolve ..  because Arya means 'a great person with a great character' ..
