Shri Krishna guided Arjuna .. He was the Guide to Arjuna , not only on Kurukshetra battlefield .. but all times , all places and in all situations .. Do we have a guide ? Who is guide to us ??
Shri Krishna says , "Shastras .. The Shastras guide us .. May we abide by the Shastras and perform our actions as per instructions of Shastra" .. all times , all places and in all situations ..It is ingnorance or Tamasik to perform actions without studying Shastras .. It is Asuri or demoniac to act contrary to Shastras .. Shastras are compilations of experiences .. The Young who feel "I do not need others' experiences .." exhibit their ahankara or bloated ego .. These men discard their parents and other elders and go away pursuing their own careers ..

But , elders in our family , being commoners , may not be able to guide on intricate secretive lessons of life .. The Shastras have been written by Rshees ,, Rshees are men with deep vision .. They are far sighted .. They are absolutely selfless .. They can see beyond few future generations .. Hence , Shastras are apt guides for us , all times , all places and in all situations .. May we not entertain doubts in our minds .. May we abide by Shastras with Shraddha .. May we perform all our actions as per the instructions of Shastras ..
