प्रेतान्भूतगणांश्चान्ये यजन्ते तामसा जनाः  ..  (अध्याय १७ - श्लोक ४)
ப்ரேதான்பூதகணாம்ஶ்சான்யே யஜந்தே தாமஸா ஜனாஹ ..  (அத்யாயம் 17 - ஶ்லோகம் 4)
Pretaan Bhootaganaamschaanye Yajante Taamasaa Janaah ..  (Chapter 17 - Shlokam 4)

Meaning :  Those in the mode of ignorance (Tamasik) worship the Ghosts and spirits ..

Ignorance , Darkness , confusion , unconsciousness etc . are marked traits exhibited by Tamas ..  Person with dominant Tamas worships Preta and Bhoot , says Shri Krishna ..  (Preta , Bhoot are spirits invisible ghosts ..)  What does He mean ??  Tamasi worships shadows ..  Preta is not but seems to be ..  In today's world , Cine stars best match the definitions of Preta and Bhoota ..  Bravery and courage which are not there , beauty which is not there , good qualities which are not there are projected on the screen , as though these were real ..  Like Preta , they are mere shadows .. non - existent , exist only on screen ..  They are lifeless like the Preta Bhoota ghosts ..  The followers of these cine stars are real Tamo Gunee .. men dominant with Tamas ..  These followers worship their 'heroes' , organize feasts and celebration on the occassion of birthdays and other days of these stars ..  They carry and stick posters of their heroes ..  They keenly follow life events of these film stars ..  They spend their whole life in chasing these shadows ..  These are Tamo Guni , men with dominant Tamas ..

(இசைக்கும் மொழி கிடையாது . கவிதைக்குதான் மொழி . தமிழிசை மன்றம் என்பதெல்லாம் அபத்தம் .) தமிழகத்திற்கு வடக்கில் பாரத தேஶத்தின் அத்தனை ப்ராந்தங்களும் (கேரளம் தவிர்த்து) உள்ளன . தெலுங்கு , மராடீ , போஜ்புரி , குஜராதீ ... அனைத்து மொழிகளும் வட திஶையில் பேசப்படும் மொழிகள் .  இவை எல்லாம் வடமொழிகள் . (கன்யாகுமரி ஆளுக்கு சென்னை பாஷை கூட வடமொழிதான்) . இந்த எல்லா மொழிகளிலும் இந்த ஶப்தங்களுக்கு எழுத்துக்கள் உண்டு .   தெலுங்கில் జ  , స  , హ .. . என்றும் ,   கன்னடத்தில்   ಜ , ಸ , ಹ , ಕ್ಷ .. என்றும் , மராடீயில் . ज , स , ह , श , क्ष,.. என்றும் குஜராதியில்     જ , સ , હા , ક્ષ  , என்றும் ,   ப...

August 28th... Flying visit to Chennai..

ॐ Out of the net for three days. Fying visits to Chennai on 28th and to Erode on the 30th. 29th was Shravana Poornimaa, day for License renewal . Went to Chennai for inauguration of ABVP Karyalayam. There was a day long meet of old workers of Vidyarthi Parishad. Recall of memories is always a refreshing experience. Probably, that is the reason why many want to live with 'glorious' old memories. Those days when our only asset was Enthusiasm at its best. Karyalaya, funds, facilities like vehicle, phone, etc. support, numerical strength, and other resources were on the lower side. Peanuts, Tea, Walk, long and short ones. Nevertheless, it was a great experience with high level of affectionate team working and sharing, hectic activism, great dreams. Nagpur Sangam Chawl Karyalayam was a tiled hut, but was always full of students. Similar in Chennai Ezhumbur Karyalaya. Now, there is no paucity of resources.
