तपः सात्त्विकम् .. (अध्याय १७ - श्लोक १८)
தபஹ ஸாத்விகம் .. (அத்யாயம் 17 - ஶ்லோகம் 18)
Tapah Saattvikam .. (Chapter 17 - Shlokam 18)

Meaning : This is Tapas (Austerity) by the person in Mode of Knowledge (Sattvik) ..

With Shraddha or with complete faith and conviction and without expectation of fruits .. Shraddha is a state wherein there is total absence of doubts and disbelief .. These are two chief traits of a Sattvik person (person in mode of knowledge ..) Shraddha is a state wherein there is total absence of doubts and disbelief .. These traits are exhibited by the Saattvik person in every act of his ..

Absence of expectation of fruits .. A Saattvika person does not carry an iota of expectation for fruits .. He does not bother about fruits .. The motivation for a Saattvik person to involve in an action is never the lure of fruits , but the thought that this ought to be done ..

Tapas by a Saattvika person also exhibits these very traits .. He performs Tapas with Shraddhaa and without expectation of fruits ..

ॐ ஜ , ஷ , ஸ , ஹ , ஶ , க்ஷ , ஸ்ரீ என்ற எழுத்துக்களை வடமொழி எழுத்துக்கள் என்கிறான் ஒருவன். ஸம்ஸ்க்ருத எழுத்து என்கிறான் ஒருவன் . மூடர்கள் . அறியாமையில் பேசுகின்றனர் . தவறான நோக்கத்துடன், நம்முள் பேதத்தை ஏற்படுத்திட எவனோ புதைத்துச் சென்ற விஷத்தை , அது விஷம் என்று கூட அறியாமல் பேசுகின்றனர் . வட என்பது திஶை . திஶைக்கு மொழி கிடையாது . (இசைக்கும் மொழி கிடையாது . கவிதைக்குதான் மொழி . தமிழிசை மன்றம் என்பதெல்லாம் அபத்தம் .) தமிழகத்திற்கு வடக்கில் பாரத தேஶத்தின் அத்தனை ப்ராந்தங்களும் (கேரளம் தவிர்த்து) உள்ளன . தெலுங்கு , மராடீ , போஜ்புரி , குஜராதீ ... அனைத்து மொழிகளும் வட திஶையில் பேசப்படும் மொழிகள் . இவை எல்லாம் வடமொழிகள் . (கன்யாகுமரி ஆளுக்கு சென்னை பாஷை கூட வடமொழிதான்) . இந்த எல்லா மொழிகளிலும் இந்த ஶப்தங்களுக்கு எழுத்துக்கள் உண்டு . தெலுங்கில் జ , స , హ .. . என்றும் , கன்னடத்தில் ಜ , ಸ , ಹ , ಕ್ಷ .. என்றும் , மராடீயில் . ज , स , ह , श , क्ष,.. என்றும் குஜராதியில் જ , સ , હા , ક્ષ , என்றும் , ப...

(அத்யாயம் 4 - ஶ்லோகம் 13) Chatur VarNyam Mayaa Srushtam GuNa Karma Vibhaagashah ... August 28th... Flying visit to Chennai..

ॐ Out of the net for three days. Fying visits to Chennai on 28th and to Erode on the 30th. 29th was Shravana Poornimaa, day for License renewal . Went to Chennai for inauguration of ABVP Karyalayam. There was a day long meet of old workers of Vidyarthi Parishad. Recall of memories is always a refreshing experience. Probably, that is the reason why many want to live with 'glorious' old memories. Those days when our only asset was Enthusiasm at its best. Karyalaya, funds, facilities like vehicle, phone, etc. support, numerical strength, and other resources were on the lower side. Peanuts, Tea, Walk, long and short ones. Nevertheless, it was a great experience with high level of affectionate team working and sharing, hectic activism, great dreams. Nagpur Sangam Chawl Karyalayam was a tiled hut, but was always full of students. Similar in Chennai Ezhumbur Karyalaya. Now, there is no paucity of resources.
