Meaning :  That Knowledge is Taamasik or (Knowledge in mode of Ignorance) where one is engrossed in a fragmentary concept as if encompasses the Whole and which is neither grounded in reason nor based on Truth ..

The apt examples for Tamasa Knowledge are the communists , especially the Bharateeya communists ..  Every word spoken by Shri Krishna here aptly fit the communists ..  The person with Tamasa Knowledge holds on blindly to an un-truthful idea ..  He is engrossed in a fragmentary idea but regards the same as the whole ..  The idea is neither grounded in reason nor truth ..  Un - truthful ..  Despite being sponsored by an all powerful dictatorial regime , the communist idea shattered within seventy years and also dismantled powerful governments in 12 , 14 countries , governments which seemed deeply entrenched ..  This can happen only to an Un-truthful and unreasonable idea ..  Engrossed in fragmentary concept but regards the same as the whole ..  Man is only his belly ..  Hunger is his only problem ..  Food to satiate hunger is the chief need for the human ..  Religion , Private asset , marriage and family all are unnecessary and need to be eliminated ..  The government should have all powers ..  Individual humans have no rights ..  The government is of the proletariat and is dictatorial in nature ..  These are some of the most prominent slogans of the communists ..  These slogans have been silenced in the world after elimination of the communist idea , but a handful of men in Bharat still hold on to these ideas ..  These morons exhibit Tamasa Knowledge ..

Man is but his body ; Bodily pleasures are ultimate needs for him ; Gaining objects of pleasure is the supreme goal in a man's life ..  These and such others are slogans of Amerikan materialism ..  This is a projection of Tamasa Gyaanam ..  This life is the only and the final opportunity for a man in this world ..  The declaration by a man 2000 years ago is the ultimate or final truth ..  None can effect any change in what he has said centuries ago ..  Everything else in this world , other than what has been revealed in 'my' holy book , is false and deserves to be eliminated ..  Such ideas have been projected by Islam Christian religions ..  These religions , their subscribed 'book' and their followers exhibit Tamasa Knowledge ..

Chapter X (19 - 42)

Shri Bhagawan said:   I shall speak to Thee now, Oh best of the Kurus! of My Divine attributes, according to their prominence;   there is no end to the particulars of My manifestation. (X - 19) Arjuna asks for a detailed and complete elaboration on His manifestations.   Shri Krishna replies He will be brief in description.   Why?   ‘My manifestations are infinite’, says Shri Krishna.   Shri Krishna is in human form.   The Infinite Paramaatman has bound Himself in a finite Form.   A finite can not fully describe an Infinite.   The same Shri Krishna in the next chapter says, “See My Infinite Forms.   See as much as you wish”, when Arjuna expresses his desire to see His one Form.   Brief in words and Elaborate in Form.;. The discussion in the last shlokam continues here.   The listener’s ahankara tries to fathom the speaker.   The listener, Arj

Chapter IV (1 - 20)

\   ADHYAAY IV   GYANA KARMA SANYASA YOGAM Introduction This chapter named ‘Gnyana Karma Sanyasa Yog’ is a special one, as this is where Shri Krishna reveals the secrets of Avatara to Arjuna. We, as human have a natural weakness.  When a great thought is placed before us, instead of analysing the thought, understanding it and trying to put it into practise, almost all of us start worshipping the person who revealed the thought.  Worship of the Cross and the idols of Buddha can be quoted as examples.  One of the reasons for this may be that we deem him to be the originator of the thought.  Truths are eternal and can only be revealed and not invented.  You ask any educated person about ahimsa or non-violence.  You should not be surprised if he instantly come up with the answer, “Gandhi”.  You try to clarify that ‘almost two thousand years ago Shri Mahaveer based his life and religion solely on the principle of Ahimsa’ and ‘hundreds of years prior to that the Vedas, the Gi
