अयथावत्प्रजानाती बुद्धिः सा राजसी ..  (अध्याय १८ - श्लोक ३१)
அயதாவத் ப்ரஜானாதி ஸா புத்தி ராஜஸீ ..  (அத்யாயம் 18 - ஶ்லோகம் 31)
Ayathaavat Prajaanaati Saa Buddhi Raajasi ... (Chapter 18 - Shlokam 31)

Meaning :  The Intellect which is confused and does not know properly is Rajasi ..

Excitement and anxiety are natural traits of a person with dominant Rajo Guna ..  He thinks in an excited state ..  He acts in an excited state ..  Anxiety and excitement do not leave him alone even in enjoyment and experience ..  The intense attachment in him is the reason for this ..  attachment with the fruits of action ..  intense aspiration to attain the 'liked' fruits of his action ..  This causes excitement and anxiety in his mind ..  The mind is in a turbulent and restless state ..  This mind affects the Buddhi or intellect too ..  Buddhi which is our faculty of thinking and suggesting right action can not effectively function ..  It is confused and is unable to suggest the right action , action which suits the time , place and situation ..  This confused intellect is Rajasi Buddhi ..

(இசைக்கும் மொழி கிடையாது . கவிதைக்குதான் மொழி . தமிழிசை மன்றம் என்பதெல்லாம் அபத்தம் .) தமிழகத்திற்கு வடக்கில் பாரத தேஶத்தின் அத்தனை ப்ராந்தங்களும் (கேரளம் தவிர்த்து) உள்ளன . தெலுங்கு , மராடீ , போஜ்புரி , குஜராதீ ... அனைத்து மொழிகளும் வட திஶையில் பேசப்படும் மொழிகள் .  இவை எல்லாம் வடமொழிகள் . (கன்யாகுமரி ஆளுக்கு சென்னை பாஷை கூட வடமொழிதான்) . இந்த எல்லா மொழிகளிலும் இந்த ஶப்தங்களுக்கு எழுத்துக்கள் உண்டு .   தெலுங்கில் జ  , స  , హ .. . என்றும் ,   கன்னடத்தில்   ಜ , ಸ , ಹ , ಕ್ಷ .. என்றும் , மராடீயில் . ज , स , ह , श , क्ष,.. என்றும் குஜராதியில்     જ , સ , હા , ક્ષ  , என்றும் ,   ப...

August 28th... Flying visit to Chennai..

ॐ Out of the net for three days. Fying visits to Chennai on 28th and to Erode on the 30th. 29th was Shravana Poornimaa, day for License renewal . Went to Chennai for inauguration of ABVP Karyalayam. There was a day long meet of old workers of Vidyarthi Parishad. Recall of memories is always a refreshing experience. Probably, that is the reason why many want to live with 'glorious' old memories. Those days when our only asset was Enthusiasm at its best. Karyalaya, funds, facilities like vehicle, phone, etc. support, numerical strength, and other resources were on the lower side. Peanuts, Tea, Walk, long and short ones. Nevertheless, it was a great experience with high level of affectionate team working and sharing, hectic activism, great dreams. Nagpur Sangam Chawl Karyalayam was a tiled hut, but was always full of students. Similar in Chennai Ezhumbur Karyalaya. Now, there is no paucity of resources.
