Vaishya Karma Swabhaavajam  ... (Chapter 18 - Shloka 44)

Meaning : Natural works of Vaishya ...

According to Shri Krishna , "Agriculture , Cow protection and business are natural professions of a Vaishya ..

Shri Krishna discussed traits or qualities while discussing Brahmin and Kshatriya .. Here , while discussing the Vaishya , He is listing fields of activity and not qualities .. "Agriculture , Cow protection and business are natural professions of a Vaishya" says He .. These three fields of activity are fields wherein wealth is multiplied .. One seed multiplies to 200 seeded crop in agriculture .. Cows are assets and wealth generating lives .. These too multiply in numbers .. Business also multiplies money .. These are natural activities for a Vaishya ..

The most important work of a Vaishya is to generate and multiply wealth .. These are thus natural activities of a Vaishya ..

ॐ ஜ , ஷ , ஸ , ஹ , ஶ , க்ஷ , ஸ்ரீ என்ற எழுத்துக்களை வடமொழி எழுத்துக்கள் என்கிறான் ஒருவன். ஸம்ஸ்க்ருத எழுத்து என்கிறான் ஒருவன் . மூடர்கள் . அறியாமையில் பேசுகின்றனர் . தவறான நோக்கத்துடன், நம்முள் பேதத்தை ஏற்படுத்திட எவனோ புதைத்துச் சென்ற விஷத்தை , அது விஷம் என்று கூட அறியாமல் பேசுகின்றனர் . வட என்பது திஶை . திஶைக்கு மொழி கிடையாது . (இசைக்கும் மொழி கிடையாது . கவிதைக்குதான் மொழி . தமிழிசை மன்றம் என்பதெல்லாம் அபத்தம் .) தமிழகத்திற்கு வடக்கில் பாரத தேஶத்தின் அத்தனை ப்ராந்தங்களும் (கேரளம் தவிர்த்து) உள்ளன . தெலுங்கு , மராடீ , போஜ்புரி , குஜராதீ ... அனைத்து மொழிகளும் வட திஶையில் பேசப்படும் மொழிகள் . இவை எல்லாம் வடமொழிகள் . (அத்யாயம் 4 - ஶ்லோகம் 13) Chatur VarNyam Mayaa Srushtam GuNa Karma Vibhaagashah ... August 28th... Flying visit to Chennai..

ॐ Out of the net for three days. Fying visits to Chennai on 28th and to Erode on the 30th. 29th was Shravana Poornimaa, day for License renewal . Went to Chennai for inauguration of ABVP Karyalayam. There was a day long meet of old workers of Vidyarthi Parishad. Recall of memories is always a refreshing experience. Probably, that is the reason why many want to live with 'glorious' old memories. Those days when our only asset was Enthusiasm at its best. Karyalaya, funds, facilities like vehicle, phone, etc. support, numerical strength, and other resources were on the lower side. Peanuts, Tea, Walk, long and short ones. Nevertheless, it was a great experience with high level of affectionate team working and sharing, hectic activism, great dreams. Nagpur Sangam Chawl Karyalayam was a tiled hut, but was always full of students. Similar in Chennai Ezhumbur Karyalaya. Now, there is no paucity of resources.
