This is a very special work , according to Shri Krishna .. Arjuna plunged into a state of confusion in Kurukshetra .. He talked of quitting the battle field .. Shri Krishna probably had two options .. To let Arjuna quit the battle field or to instigate him to fight by inciting passion in him .. These were easier options .. But Shri Krishna chose a tougher and a challenging one .. He talked Gita , gave Adhyatma Vidya to Arjuna and tried to turn Arjuna into a Yogi .. He wanted Arjuna to fight the battle with a Yogi mindset .. This was a noble effort , though a very tough one .. Shri Krishna expects the same from a student of the Gita ,.. Sharing or discussing the essence of the Gita with Devotees .. Shri Krishna describes this as the dearest work to Him .. There is no other work equal to this , says Shri Krishna ..
