PHRASES IN THE GITA - 300


केशवार्जुनयोः पुण्यं संवादम इमम् अद्भुतम्  ।  (अध्याय १८ - श्लोक ७६)
கேஶவார்ஜுனயோஹ புண்யம் ஸம்வாதம் இமம் அத்புதம்  ...  (அத்யாயம் 18 - ஶ்லோகம் 76)
Keshavaarjunayoh punyam Samvaadam Imam Adbhutam  ... (Chapter 18 - Shloka 76)

Meaning :  The grand , holy conversation between Keshava and Arjuna ...

These words are spoken by the charioteer of blind king Dhrutarashtra ..  Sanjay is delighted and excited ..  He is elated and is in an ecstatic state ..  He is an ordinary charioteer , working as a salaried employee of Maharaj Dhrutarashtra ..  But , he regarded self as blessed to have listened to the Divine dialogue between Shri Krishna and Arjuna ..  Just like the weed also gets water supplied to the main crop , Sanjaya feels he has also received a sip of the nectar like Gita ..

Sanjaya has a pure heart ..  Hence , he could see this dialogue as Divine and nectar - like ..  He was in the company of confused and deluded Dhritarashtra , vicious conspirator Duryodhana and his gang of rogues and yet he could retain his pious and pure mind ..  This reveals the depth of his Sattvik personality ..  Dharmaatmaa Sanjaya !!!

(இசைக்கும் மொழி கிடையாது . கவிதைக்குதான் மொழி . தமிழிசை மன்றம் என்பதெல்லாம் அபத்தம் .) தமிழகத்திற்கு வடக்கில் பாரத தேஶத்தின் அத்தனை ப்ராந்தங்களும் (கேரளம் தவிர்த்து) உள்ளன . தெலுங்கு , மராடீ , போஜ்புரி , குஜராதீ ... அனைத்து மொழிகளும் வட திஶையில் பேசப்படும் மொழிகள் .  இவை எல்லாம் வடமொழிகள் . (கன்யாகுமரி ஆளுக்கு சென்னை பாஷை கூட வடமொழிதான்) . இந்த எல்லா மொழிகளிலும் இந்த ஶப்தங்களுக்கு எழுத்துக்கள் உண்டு .   தெலுங்கில் జ  , స  , హ .. . என்றும் ,   கன்னடத்தில்   ಜ , ಸ , ಹ , ಕ್ಷ .. என்றும் , மராடீயில் . ज , स , ह , श , क्ष,.. என்றும் குஜராதியில்     જ , સ , હા , ક્ષ  , என்றும் ,   ப...

August 28th... Flying visit to Chennai..

ॐ Out of the net for three days. Fying visits to Chennai on 28th and to Erode on the 30th. 29th was Shravana Poornimaa, day for License renewal . Went to Chennai for inauguration of ABVP Karyalayam. There was a day long meet of old workers of Vidyarthi Parishad. Recall of memories is always a refreshing experience. Probably, that is the reason why many want to live with 'glorious' old memories. Those days when our only asset was Enthusiasm at its best. Karyalaya, funds, facilities like vehicle, phone, etc. support, numerical strength, and other resources were on the lower side. Peanuts, Tea, Walk, long and short ones. Nevertheless, it was a great experience with high level of affectionate team working and sharing, hectic activism, great dreams. Nagpur Sangam Chawl Karyalayam was a tiled hut, but was always full of students. Similar in Chennai Ezhumbur Karyalaya. Now, there is no paucity of resources.
